Easter Card

Sorry, I haven't posted in a few days. Sunday, I spent the day with my husband just lounging around. This morning, I went to the pain specialist for an epidural injection in my neck. It was done and over with before I knew it.  But, about 4 hours later, I was in so much pain I couldn't see straight. So, I took some pain medications and went to bed. Needless to say, I slept most of the rest of the day, and now I am wide awake at 2:15am. As my husband was asleep, I decided to make the rounds to my favorite challenge sites. Retro Sketches posted this sketch as this week's challenge

Immediately, my mind went in several directions. The scallops reminded me of water and I thought about a fishing card for my husband, but then wasn't sure how to incorporate the bow. So, I kinda put that idea on the back burner. Then, I thought I could make a cute Easter card with it. I have kind of been on a create your own creature out of simple shapes kick, so I created a bunny and made an Easter card.  This is the final project:
This is a 5x7 white card stock card from studio G. The green panels were cut from the Cricut. The middle panel was run through the embosser with Swiss dots folder. Then, I inked the raised dots and added a small dab of glossy accents to give them some shine. Then I cut the pink rectangle out of glitter paper and adhered the white card stock with sentiment. The green glitter ribbon is actually from an after Halloween clearance. Again, the pink glitter paper for the scalloped rectangle and the same green card stock as the background panels. The bunny is two ovals welded together, some rabbit ears, a 5 petal flower and a glass pearl for the tail. Here is a picture where I tried to capture the bling:

Very cute.  Hope you like.

I am also going enter this one in the challenge at My Craft Spot.

C&C Welcome!
