Love Story

This card is made especially with my mother in mind. When you see all the pictures, you will see why. All papers are scrap, except for the off white base, which is a 12x6 in. generic card stock from Wassau I brought at Target a few years back. The flat back pearls are from the dollar aisle at Michaels. The pearl flourishes were on clearance at Michael's and are by Recollections. The sentiments are stickers, also from recollections. The papers are from my scrap box. I distressed the pink papers with a distressing tool from Stampin' Up and inked them with crumb cake ink also from Stampin' Up. The paper roses are also from the dollar aisle at Michael's. The Scalloped heart is cut from cricut craft room basics as is the plain heart.

My mom and dad circa the year 2000. Theirs is a true love story. I cannot wait to give this to my mom this weekend. I cried when I made this card. I expect happy tears when she reads it. I hope you all have a great Valentine's Day weekend.
