About Me

My photo

I am a 37 year old nurse who is currently not working due to medical issues. I have chosen to pass my time crafting, but because I am not working, I have little money to spend on supplies. I have a small stash from while  I was still working but am now using what I have access to around the house. I also use things I can find cheaply at the dollar store, in the dollar bins, on clearance, or buy with coupons at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I also like to shop thrift stores and garage sales for things to use in my crafting. You would be surprised with what you can find if you aren't afraid to prowl a little.

Beautiful

My days are all running together, and it seems like I can't remember one day from the other. That being said, I'm almost positive that I posted yesterday, but if I didn't, I do apologize.

Oreo, one of my cats, (I have 4)
woke me up at the before the sun came up. I love him, but wow, really?!

So, I jumped on here and checked out the challenge at My Time to Craft. Turns out it was "in the sky." I may end up doing more than one entry for this one, but I quickly came up with this, which I will also enter into Flutter By Wednesday's anything goes challenge:
I really think brown, blue and cream has got to by my favorite color combo. The sentiment was printed out from the computer. The lattice is from the French Manor Cricut Cartridge, the butterflies are from the Ultimate Creative Cricut Cartridge, and the paper is Stampin' Up: Marina Mist, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla. I had the flat back pearls and blue bi-cone beads in my stash already. This is a very simple, but beautiful card.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! I may be back later with something else. If not, until next time.......
