OK, it is 4:57am EST, and I am just finishing a card. Ever had one of those dreams that is extremely bizarre, but the feelings were very real. That's what woke me up at about 2am. I was very shaken up, and needed a release, so back to my craft room I went. And, kind of like comfort food, I have a comfort craft....coloring. So, I chose a digi stamp, grabbed my oil pencils, sat down at my desk, and colored until I felt better. I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches
Combined with the challenge from Flutter By Wednesday's: anything goes with a butterfly or fairy.
Here is the finished result:
But, I want to show off another card that I finished the other day. This is something I have wanted to try for a while, but never tried, so I just decided, to sit down and do it. I have never used fabric before and I don't sew, so this was quite a challenge for me. I'm not going to go into details, but am definitely open to comments, suggestion, etc. If you do want further detail, please let me know, and I will get it to you.
Have a great day!
- I am a 37 year old nurse who is currently not working due to medical issues. I have chosen to pass my time crafting, but because I am not working, I have little money to spend on supplies. I have a small stash from while I was still working but am now using what I have access to around the house. I also use things I can find cheaply at the dollar store, in the dollar bins, on clearance, or buy with coupons at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I also like to shop thrift stores and garage sales for things to use in my crafting. You would be surprised with what you can find if you aren't afraid to prowl a little.
