Trick or Tweet & Freebie

This week's challenge at the Outlawz is "Doodles." I am not much of an artist. I really can't even draw a sick figure. But, since I am part of this design team, I couldn't just pass it up. But, I did put it off longer than I usually do. Then, while I was at a store, I don't which one, I saw a Halloween poster that got me thinking. So, when I got home, I sat down with my graphics program, I "drew" my inspiration on the computer. And, this is the card that I came up with using my "digital doodle:"

The card base is a dark blue card stock from Michael's. I created clouds in the background by sponging ballet blue ink over pieces of paper that had been cut out with decorative scissors. The moon is a scrap pieces of cream paper cut in a circle. I stamped it with a French script background stamp from sweet stamps. I then inked the circle "moon" with vintage photo distress ink. The strip of paper that is acting as the "tree trunk" is a scrap piece of paper from DCWV (I think). The branch was cut from the Ultimate Creative Series Cricut Cartridge from a scrap piece of brown card stock. The birds on the branch are the digital image I created. It was colored with sharpies. Here's a closer look at the clouds.....

PS....I have gotten a couple comments regarding the image I did. I thought I would go ahead and post it. Please do not post this on sites such as Pinterest, facebook, etc. If you are aware of someone who would like the image, please send them to my blog to get it. Other than that, have fun with it and I would love to see what you do with it if you feel like sharing.
